IRC as never before seen :-D
If keyword root doesn't do it for you, log in to http://swhack.com/ and give .ety a whirl. I love etymology while writing. I couldn't really figure out which browser to use to pull up the url <irc://irc.freenode.net/swhack>, but Opera seems to have solved that problem.

Yesterday's debate seemed like an attack on Clinton.
To the question about what happened to the millions of jobs she promised to create, Clinton said she was relying on Al Gore winning the presidency.
The reason I believe millions of jobs can be created is because...[snip]
we can at least create millions of jobs."

three links to interesting reading
This link contains text about the end of the world. http://www.endoftime2012.com/
This MSNBC link contains an article about the satellites predicted to fall to earth containing toxic gasses that kill upon inhalation. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22857051/
The third link contains info about the constellation Ophiuchus. This is a sun sign that, if it was incorporated with the current twelve known signs of the zodiac... it would bump Aquarius into the 13th slot. Ophiuchus enters somewhere between Scorpius and Saggitarius. http://www.geocities.com/astrologyconstellations/ophiuchus.htm

pilcrow news
In an article from the Times called "Moving a step closer to creating life", I became curious as to the biologist J Craig Venter and his involvement in Challenging the federal govn'ts effort to decode the human genome. This is a wikipedia link to the topic HUMAN GENOME PROJECT http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_Genome_Project
This article came ou on page A10 of the LATimes, Jan. 25, 2008. The journalist's name is Karen Kaplan.
The reason I took interest in this is simple. I am curious to see scientists clone a Dodo bird, and the title of this article seemed like a breakthru in stem cell/DNA cloning is getting closer.
A line that reads "Researchers... hope to use the method as a blueprint for designing microscopic creatures that can produce renewable fuels, medicines and industrial products" also seemed like Dodo bird cloning was a posibility.
